Description: System for hands-free (wired or wireless) communication for limited numbers of personnel in close proximity, such as vehicle crew members. Includes systems designed for underwater use.

ImportantFeatures: Voice activated, full duplex. May be battery powered or use vehicle power.
Wifi or Bluetooth

Operating Considerations: For battery units, vehicle adapter is useful.
Wireless units will have low power and should not be used in lieu of handheld radios over distances beyond their design limits.
May be integrated with/to other systems (mobile/portable radios).
In underwater/confined space/EOD environments, etc., consider compatibility with facepiece/regulator equipment. Must not interfere with ensemble integrity.
